Sip the Season this Fall with Chareau

You may think of citrus as being a springtime fruit, but lemons actually grow year-round. In Southern California, we harvest ours at peak ripeness, during the months of November and December. To celebrate harvest time, here are two seasonal drinks to try out for yourself.

Garden Tonic

4oz soda

2oz Chareau

Build cocktail over ice. Garnish with fresh lemon or herbs.

1oz Ransom Old Tom

1/2oz Chareau

1/2oz Gran Classico

1 Lemon

1/2oz Rosemary Syrup

1 Dash Angostura

1 Egg White

Dry shake then shake with ice, and strain into coupe. Express lemon peel over top and discard.

Rosemary Syrup:

2 Cups Sugar

1 Cup Water

5 Sprigs Rosemary

Bring water to simmer over medium heat. Add 5 sprigs rosemary and dissolve sugar. Once dissolved, remove from heat and steep rosemary until cooled to room temp. Strain syrup through a Chinois.
